Dr. Ahmed Amine Hachicha

Ahmed Amine Hachicha is an Assistant Professor of the Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering Department at the University of Sharjah in United Arab Emirates where he has been a faculty member since 2014. He completed his PhD in thermal engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya/Spain in 2013. He was awarded with the cum laude distinction and special doctoral award from the same university. His research interests are revolved in two main areas: (i) Numerical modelling and simulations of energy systems, (ii) Advanced concentrated solar technologies. He has participated in different research projects on solar energy systems with academic and industrial partners. He has more than 15 journal papers on highly ranked journals and participated in various reputable conferences in solar/thermal engineering field.
